UPSC signature resizer (3 signatures, 20–300 KB)

UPSC asks you to sign three times, one below the other, on white paper in black ink, and upload it as one JPG of 20–300 KB, 350 to 1000 pixels on each side. This page sizes and cleans that image.

Files stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded.

Filled in: 600 × 450 px at 200 DPI, 20–300 KB JPG · check your notice and edit if it differs

How to use: UPSC signature size (3 signatures)

  1. 1Sign three times, one below the other, on plain white paper with a black pen.
  2. 2Photograph the page and crop it to just the three signatures.
  3. 3Add it here. The frame is 600 × 450 pixels with a 20–300 KB range.
  4. 4Press "Make it fit"; all three signatures are kept on white.
  5. 5Download the JPG and upload it in the signature section.

Laying out the three signatures

Leave a little space between the signatures so they do not overlap, and keep them roughly the same width. The final image is 600 × 450 pixels, which leaves each signature enough height to stay readable. If your notice asks for a different shape, change the width and height: anything from 350 to 1000 pixels on each side is accepted.

Clean-up and framing

The page uses Keep everything framing, so no signature is cut at the edges, and White paper, dark ink, which removes the grey cast of indoor photos. Prepare your UPSC photo with the same 20–300 KB rule.

Frequently asked questions

Why three signatures?

Recent UPSC notices ask for the signature three times in one image, so they can compare your writing reliably at later stages. A single signature may be rejected.

Can I use blue ink?

The notice asks for black ink. Blue scans lighter and can look faint at small sizes.

What if the three signatures look slightly different?

That is normal. Sign naturally, at your usual speed, rather than trying to make them identical.
