How to use: PDF to JPG
- 1Choose the PDF you want to convert.
- 2Pick JPG or PNG and a quality - Standard (150 DPI) suits most uses.
- 3Optionally type the pages you want, for example 1-3, 5. Leave it empty for all pages.
- 4Press "Convert to images" and download the images or a ZIP of all of them.
When you need images instead of a PDF
- WhatsApp and Instagram show images inline, but a PDF is just an attachment people have to open.
- Some online forms accept only JPG or PNG for documents like certificates or ID cards.
- Presentations and documents: drop a page as an image into slides or a Word file.
- Thumbnails: use the first page of a brochure or report as a preview image.
Quality explained
DPI (dots per inch) sets how many pixels each page gets. An A4 page at 150 DPI is about 1240 × 1754 pixels, which is sharp on any phone or laptop screen. At 300 DPI it is 2480 × 3508 pixels, enough for printing.
Then make it smaller
Need the image under a size limit? Send it to the Compress image to KB tool afterwards to hit an exact size like 100 KB.
Frequently asked questions
Which quality should I choose?
Standard (150 DPI) is right for sharing and on-screen reading. Choose Print (300 DPI) if you will print the images or need to zoom into small text. Screen (72 DPI) makes the smallest files.
JPG or PNG?
JPG files are much smaller and fine for most documents and photos. PNG keeps text edges perfectly crisp but files are larger.
Can I convert only one page?
Yes. Type its number in the Pages box, for example 4.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Pages are rendered into images inside your browser using the same PDF engine as Firefox.
