JEE Main signature resizer (10–30 KB)

Your JEE Main signature must be a JPG, signed in running hand with a black pen on white paper. This page keeps it between 10 and 30 KB, a range that satisfies the limits seen in recent NTA bulletins.

Files stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded.

Filled in: 280 × 120 px at 200 DPI, 10–30 KB JPG · check your notice and edit if it differs

How to use: JEE Main signature size (10–30 KB)

  1. 1Sign on white paper with a black pen, in your usual running signature.
  2. 2Photograph it and crop away the empty paper.
  3. 3Add it here; the 10–30 KB range and clean-up are set.
  4. 4Press "Make it fit" and check the preview.
  5. 5Download the JPG and upload it in the signature step.

A signature that survives being small

At 280 × 120 pixels thin strokes can vanish. Sign a little bigger than usual, press firmly, and crop tightly around the signature before you add it. The White paper, dark ink clean-up then makes the background white and darkens faint lines.

Prepare the JEE Main photo the same way, and keep both files for JEE Advanced and JoSAA counselling.

Frequently asked questions

Why 10–30 KB?

Different years and sources have listed 4–30 KB and 10–100 KB for the JEE Main signature. 10–30 KB sits inside both, so the file is accepted either way. Change the numbers if your bulletin is different.

What if my signature comes out lighter than 10 KB?

The tool saves at high quality and tops the file up with blank metadata if needed. The signature itself is not changed.

Can I sign with a pencil or sketch pen?

Use a black ballpoint or gel pen. Pencil is too faint and sketch pens blot at small sizes.
