Lighter files for websites
A 1920 × 1080 photo saved as JPG is typically 300–800 KB. For websites, save as WebP or compress to around 200–300 KB so pages load quickly on mobile data.
Batch for a slideshow
Resizing a whole set to the same size keeps a slideshow or digital display consistent, without black bars appearing on some photos and not others.
