How to use: LinkedIn banner size (1584 × 396)
- 1Choose a wide image, such as a city skyline, workspace or brand graphic.
- 2The size is preset to 1584 × 396 with a centre crop.
- 3Press "Resize".
- 4Upload it on LinkedIn from your profile's background photo option.
A banner that works on every screen
LinkedIn shows the banner at different crops on desktop, tablet and phone. Designs with the important part in the middle-right survive all of them. A plain background with a short line of text, such as your role or a tagline, reads best.
Choosing an image
Because the ratio is so wide, tall photos lose most of their content when cropped. Start with a landscape image, ideally at least 1584 pixels wide, so the result stays sharp.
